Some of the thoughts to keep in your life plan can include what’s personally important to you and what you hope being an entrepreneur will allow you to do. If values are important to you, what values will you bring to being an entrepreneur? What are your priorities and how do you intend to manage those priorities when they come in conflict with other priorities? What should happen with the business if something happens to you?

Getting upset, along with insults and ignoring the facts, simply demonstrate an inability to think rationally.

This suggests that anyone insisting they already know the one-best answer may be telling the truth - but only to a very different question. One about money and power! So ask yourself how their recommended policy would benefit them? What effect will it have on their finances? Does their answer increase their power?
The evidence from Australia and Britain shows virtually complete gun bans are failures,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. How can they succeed in America with far wider gun ownership?
Politicians all fight tenaciously to be re-elected. Why? What other reason can it be but to keep pursuing their own best interests? Since they use their power to benefit themselves, the power they enjoy needs to be drastically curtailed. The US Constitution is an initial but flawed attempt to ensure this.
d. They don't realize how often guns are used defensively. In the USA,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], studies show defensive gun uses happen around a million times a year. Yet many such uses would be ignored rather than reported, which suggests there are over a million defensive gun uses annually.

Does Anyone Know the "One-Best Answer?"
Obviously not. Does the "one-best answer" even exist? The best way to determine a better answer is to examine the effectiveness of already tested strategies. Even then, that answer can only be the best among those already implemented. How can you know all the consequences of an untried policy?
Rather than changing overnight to become selfless guardians of the public interest, both politicians and government employees simply continue their self-serving behavior.

Yet more laws to tighten access to firearms will make it more difficult to obtain guns legally. Yes indeed, but only for law-abiding citizens wishing to defend themselves. There are so many firearms in circulation, such restrictions would be nothing more than a minor deterrence to criminals who neither obey the law nor obtain guns legally.

All massacres of four or more students have taken place in supposedly gun-free zones. How come? Because then responsible people don't have guns to stop the spree shooter. Again, criminals don't obey the law, nor do the mentally disturbed.
Knowledgeable Experts Know Better
There are experts in every field. But for every expert, there's another with an opposing view. Wisdom suggests you develop the rare skill to determine which expert to listen to, and which to ignore.
You trust teachers to educate your children, why would you not also trust teachers to protect your children. You trust the police with guns to protect your children, are the police so much more trust-worthy than teachers? To ask the question with an open-mind will bring the obvious answer

Several years ago around New Year, I have been introduced to a powerful concept. It has changed they in which way I approach my plans for the coming year and dramatically improved my results.

3. Your Resolutions are poorly formulated
This pattern can be applied to most of the goals and intentions people have. And it’s also the one which leads to bitter failure. Why? Because you are simply unable to draw into your life something which you do not resonate with, in order to become the person you want to be. That’s just not the way things work.
A much better approach is the reversed one:
I’ll give you my personal examples so far: 2009 – balance; 2010 – wisdom; 2011 – success; 2012 – change. I have made a review after each of these years and got much better results than I would have if I had simply formulated goals.
The basic underlying idea is: Next year I’ll do everything I’ve been postponing or failing to achieve this year.
Why do you want it? Is it because you think you should have it? Did someone else suggest to you that it would be a good idea? Does everyone else have it, making you wish to conform?
The reason is simple: most of them will never be achieved when and how you want to. One of the explanations is that you are not yet ready for them and another one is the time limit, which is usually too small. Most people will feel like failures when their deadline passes and they haven’t yet gotten what they wanted. Many can give up trying altogether.

1. The goal is not actually yours

Now we probably all know this to some degree, but most of us still live our life as if it is true. You might say “money does not bring happiness” but deep down, in your core, you probably still feel that some degree of happiness comes from money. The truth is that if you are unhappy now, you will be unhappy when you have more stuff. When you have more stuff there will be more taxes, more bills, more insurance, more things breaking, more problems. Happiness and stuff are mutually exclusive. They are not related.

In other words, if the happiness is not first coming from inside of you, then you can’t receive it from external things. So you must have happiness internally. Do you do any of these things? Are you looking for external sources of happiness? If so, its time to stop! If you catch yourself feeling unhappy where is that feeling coming from? Is it really coming from an external source or are YOU the cause of it?
1) Happiness is time based
Are you waiting for happiness to happen to you? Is there a future time that you will be happy? Will it be after you retire? When you get a new job? When you get married or perhaps divorced? Will it be the WEEKEND,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or after 5:00 Pm today? Will it be when you are in a relationship, when you lose weight, make more money, or any other future event? People are waiting for happiness to happen to them. They battle against the bad things in life and they hope that eventually happiness will come. Happiness does not come in the future! If you are on this earth for a hundred,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or a thousand, or a million years you will not be happy. If you are thinking that at some point in the future you will become happy this is a myth. “Bad” things happen every day in life. Most people fight against them. This means that they get upset, stress, hate the situation, talk bad about it, and resist it with their heart or soul. So your life has difficult things in it. So what! Every life does, but your life also has great things in it. Happiness is appreciated by dwelling in the good things. You have a choice. We are talking about why it sucks, why we don’t like it, and how rotten it is. This does not create happiness. This creates more misery.
